I blew my second pair of alpine type-r's and need some thing to replace them. I like the punchy bass for the type r's and the smooth silk tweets. the r's get as low as 30 on the freq responce, but they only get 70wrms and I need some thing that can take more power. I have a mtx amp with 100 x 2 rms. I was looking at th e MB Quart rce216 for $125.Frequency Response 38-32.000

Sensitivity 2,5W 90dB/1m

Power Range 60-130 Watts

Crossover Frequency 4.200 Hz

and the polk audo momo mmc6500 for $180 ish. which one would be better choice form the two of those? I dont really want to spend that much on comps right not cuz my car needs paint bad so if you guys could help me out or point me in the right directon.I'v got about 250 to spend, but would like to keep it as low as possible.

I have a MB-Quart PSD 216 component system and I love it. I would say go with MB-Quart they sound great.

How do they sound? are the tweeters harsh or warm, I think they might be metal? do they have good midbass?

Orion P6.2 sound like top of the line Quarts at a fraction of the cost.
