MB C350 Sport... Yay or Nay ?

Arn't Benzs basically Dodges these days?
Daimler-Benz merged with Chrysler back in the late 90s, and just recently sold Chrysler to Cerberus Capital Management back in summer of 2007.

So in between that time period things were shared, but not enough to where you'd consider a Mercedes to be on par with a Ram.

The C Class and the R Class are often criticized for being... overpriced Chryslers. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I'd highly recommend you learn the ins and outs of how the financing on a lease works before you continue your search. You'll lose the whole cap cost reduction if you wreck the car or somehow otherwise lose it, and if you add that amount to your monthly payments it's more like $600/month you're paying. If you want my opinion, you should be looking to take over someone's lease on a 335 (if you dont want to drop the money on leasing one yourself) or buying a used M3. Both of those would likely come in at a payment much less than the MB and you get free maintenance on the 335 and even the M3 if it's less than 4 years old or has the extended maintenance package.

and now im pretty sure MB is back to being MB again

I'd say yes to getting the C350, but not on lease terms.Drove one and for the right price, would be worth buying.
Thx for the reply, I'm glad someone else has driven it as it really is in a completely different league compared with the prior C class. I looked at my Credit union web site and with 4.45% my payments over 68 months it would be like $780 a month to buy vs. $530 to lease for 39 months. Those both are including tax as well.

get a yaris they are good on gas LOL and for another $5500 and you can own it.
I've put up with the POS civic for 8 years now so I'm definately not going there, if anything I would get the 2.5L 4Cyl Accord. But that would still be like $370/month compared to the $530/month on the MB.

Has anyone driven a Pontiac G8 GT? They are in the same price range but with 360 HP seems like a nice option. Saw some commercials in that they are supposed to be on par with the BMW 5 series and Cadi CTS.

im not sure how leases work, so im gonna ask you, on a lease, do you pay for the maintenance and repairs or does the dealer?

i can tell you this, if the dealer pays for everything it wouldn't be too bad. if you pay for it, i say stay away. just in the last week ive had a clk and a gl come in for their 1-3k mile service, with less than 3000 miles a piece, with fault codes up the ***, a non working comand, and some ME codes as well.
