MB C350 Sport... Yay or Nay ?

Ok so my 00 Civic is getting worn and I need an upgrade... I was out shopping today and my local MB dealer is looking to move some of their inventory before the 09's come in. They offered me a lease term of 39months @ $400/month and $5500 down, which is the normal price of the C300. It's got Navi, and most of the other options. Think it's a 3.5L 270hp V6 but when I test drove it the most impressive part was the handling and suspension.

I know it can't hang with the Bimmer 335I but that's too rich for me. At this price range the only others I've looked at are the A4 and the G37, which both feel more sportier but less refined.

Give me you $0.02

yeah $5500 is alot to put down, youll lose that money if the car is stolen. I would rather roll it all into the payment. Nice car but already a dime a dozen over here. Im waiting for the Hyundai Genesis to come out, sedan that is.

Alright so I went out for another day of test drives and so far have driven:

1) 328i

2) A4

3) A6

4) G37

5) Altima Coupe

6) C350 Sport

7) Murano

8) Accord Coupe

For some reason I find myself still drawn to the MB. I tried a 2nd MB dealership today and their deal was close so I guess the 1st offer wasn't such a great price. Again as far as lease v. buy I guess I would be concerned with the amount of debt for my 1st MB and with such volitility in gas prices.

Also what does everyone think about the Arctic white as an option? I was first leaning toward the classic MB black but the white would be nice too.

Personally, I would never own a C Class, for the same reason I would never own a Jaguar X Type. The quality level of what I would refer to as a "real" Mercedes is not there. It's the "cheap" Mercedes, what people who can't afford an CLK / E / S / CL / SL buy when they have some money and want the star on the hood (grill in the case of the Sport). I associate C Classes with guidos.

Odd assortment of test drives by the way, the Accord, Murano, and Altima seem out of place with the others.

Of course my opinion is heavily, heavily biased.

All that matters is that you like the car. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I hear what you're saying and agree with you on the previous gen of C class, but unfortunately I can't afford the CL and E class. Could get one used but their out of warranty repair charges are a bish.

Loaded Accord and Altima were at the bottom of the price range I was looking at and the 09 Murano I just thought is really nice.

Definately not a guido.

Glad you're not a guido. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
