I recently purchased o 2001 mazda protege and was looking at installing my nakamichi mb 75 head unit. I looked at the car only a little bit but could not figure out how to pull out the factory system. My only guess was Ford supplies parts for mazda and they need keys to get the head unit out so I figured that might work the same for my mazda but don't know where to research this at. Some help would be nice, thank you.

you'r actually telling me that in your home country its possible to just order a universal remover for radio's?

Isnt that kinda theft increasing shit? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/nono.gif.eca61d170185779e0921b0faa9704973.gif

(just wondering)

Dont bother buying any 'special' tools to remove your old factory deck... I have a Mazda 626 with the same tools needed... Just take a normal steel clothes hanger and cut each elbow so you have 2 'V' shapes of equal length.. Then bend them with your hands until they are a 'U' shape.. Go to your deck and rip it out! Does no harm and works perfect!!
