mazda 6 question

is it possible to hook up an amp to the original head unit on a mazda 6, would i need anything other than a wiring kit?

yes... do u have the bose system in that 6? if not... just take out the headunit... that whole dash piece... and either find a wiring diagram or get a harness from a local shop and find out the speaker wires... and tap in some line output converters... we did it to my boss's mazda 6... replaced everything but the head unit...
