if you go a little bigger on the box you can feed them more power. L7's are like ****ing tanks. even an iraqi won't be able to destroy it

If i use a MA AUDIO HK802SX, ill probabbly get just over 3000w at 1 ohm anyways ill just use one of these

itll do that at 17v... if you got it and ran it at 12 or 14v, you ought to be getting about the right amount of power

its rated 4400w @ 1 ohm...so i figure if I just do it on a yellow top battery and stock alt i can get 3000w at least

stock alt with only a yellowtop and 4400 watts @ 1 ohm?

maybe youll get 3000 out of it if your car dosent automatically die and shut off, and need to be jumpstarted after the first bass note

Ok...when are people going to learn. Putting a large amp on a stock charging system is DANGEROUS That amp doesnt have a switch on it to tell it that its on a weak electrical system. Its going to try and pull a large amount of current. Eventually you will either...Catch your car on fire, from frying wiring somewhere (wether it be the stock wiring or your audio wiring). Or burning up the alternator.

THE FIRST THING YOU DO WHEN YOU ARE PUTTING TOGETHER A HIGH POWERED AUDIO SYSTEM IS UPGRADE THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM OF THE CAR YOU ARE INSTALLING IN.
