MAXXX Power you can feed KICKER l7's!

Hey,

I hear kicker l7's get very loud in ported big boxes. I was wondering what is the max power I could safely run them at from daily cranking lol. I was thinking maybe 2500-3000w is that ok for a pair of 15's thanks.

15" L7s can take about 1200 daily and be fine, so ide say 2400 between a pair would do it justice

maybe the 07 L7s are better, who knows

I've got a 2kW amp on my 15" L7. I haven't set the gains yet, but so far, its takin it like a champ.

2400-2500 is good..not 3000...

just get a Herc and run it @ .5 ohm on a pair of L7s, if you have a good electrical it should wang

remember when building a box you need to make 1 cubic foot per inch of sub so 2 15's will need 30 cubes. i hope you got the room. plus since they are square you technically should make them 1.5 cube sper inch of sub, but 1 will do fine

1400 is the max they can take daily while still being some what safe. I had mine on 1400 daily for about 7 months and it started gettin' stinky after that long....

I say 1250 each would be awesome.

if you go a little bigger on the box you can feed them more power. L7's are like ****ing tanks. even an iraqi won't be able to destroy it
