Match Subwoofer size to music genre

Hey guys,

I just wanted to get peoples opinion on your favorite music genre and the subwoofer size you prefer for that specific genre. I realize that enclosure type and size have much to do with a sub's performance, but I am just looking for a general opinion.

For example, I have run 8, 10, 12 and 15's throughout the years. I listen mostly to Rap/Hip Hop, and although Ive enjoyed all of my systems, I personally have a slight preference for 15's for Rap.

Size is not the determining factor, there are several others.

Box type, tuning, motor force, response curve,

yea people use 15's for rap mainly because it has the ability to get louder and lower.

I will give you that; In most cases / applications, a larger woofer will be louder at a lower frequency than a smaller one.
