Massive P1000.1 or Hifonics BXi 1606D

Which one of these would you want to run a new SI MAG 12''? I all ready have the Massive P1000.1 to run it, but a guy is willing to trade me a Hifonics BXi 1606D for the brand new SI BM 12'' im selling. The hifonics does put out 1600w @1ohm, would this overpower the MAG? What are your opinions on which amp would be better for the task? Thanks.

well 1600 rms is a little much power for a single 12... thats more then enough for a single 15... if you set your gains and all that stuff right, and watch your volume you should be fine

I'd go Hifonics if ur planning on doing burps for comps. But the P1000.1 if ur just going to be doing daily listening, of course the Hifonics would work for daily too, but u have to set ur gains and volume right.

This is going to be my daily driver. To be safe sounds like i should stay with the Massive.
