Massive Headache

ive been studying for a week and i feel like i havent made a dent in the basic install, any tips. im just going for a position as a mobile installer at Best Buy. The guys back there tell me just to pass the tes, not to worry to much about actuaslly understanding it until i get back there and then worry about it. Problem is, i wanted to knwo if the practice test i have are going to be close enough to whats actually on it. its 150 questions long and i can hardly answer that many WITH the study guide that i have. so i guess my real question is if, i study the practice terst, will it be enough to pass the basic install test?

How hard could a basic install be? I mean there might be item identification (rca cable this, ground wire that) and technique - but it's bestbuy so probably not.

If you have any remote idea what you're doing, don't worry. I know I can go to the computer section and talk circles around the guys they have there and I've applied three times and been rejected each time.

yeah i dont the very basics as in definitions and such but not in depth understanding of it all... thats what im trying to make sur ei dont have to in depth everything

yeah i have the text book and like i said i know it, but for instance one question from my practice test is "are the cells in a car battery wired in parallel or series?" and its not in the book ANYWHERE"

the basic test is like pie. get the practice test find all the answers and study that. it is really easy. the first class is pretty easy also. i got first class certified from mobile dynamics.

yeah i usualyl knwo what makes sense but i like it when i can check my answers ya know. thanks for ur help on that one, after i thought about it, i dont know how it would even work in parallel.

thanks bass. thats what i was hoping for, im printing out the answers tomorrow and studying that. lol, see i was going to get the study guide and study that in depth and try to fully understand every possible thing...then i was like how about just print out the test and look for the answers in the book and ill have an ok understnading, but im too the point i just want the job....in short...screw the noble approach, ill take the easy road. i learn better through expierience. any additional input is greatly appreciated
