Massive CW 12 problems

Well today one of the massives started making tons of noise and i figured out that one of the leds inside the cone had come loose. The light in this one hasnt worked the whole time. I took it appart. I was wondering if it was ok to enlarge one of the wholes in the bottom of the cone to get it out (in the first pic)

Yes thats just a vent hole, you can enlarge it to get the led out. Thats really strange, out of all the people I know with them yours is the first with that problem. Very odd.

Recones are only available thru Massive direct, might want to contact Jeremy at Massive to help you he was my sponsor contact a couple of years ago, im sure he's still there.

yeah im just gunna get a recone if i cant fix it myself. The glueless assembly makes it so easy to take it appart. Makes life much easier

I noticed you got a bit of sawdust on that sub....you know that isnt good to have alot of that in the box right? It can get caught up inside the sub's coil gap and make noise. Not saying thats what your issue is, just something to be aware of.
