Ok im looking to upgrade from 2 15 inch L7s. I heard the Massive CW 15s will do the trick. Im looking to get 2 each powerd by there own Kicker ZX 750.1 amp. Has anyone heard theese subs? Will they put the L7s to shame? Also a local store has them for 300 a piece. Does that sound right? Thanks for any help....

They are very nice sounding subs. $300 a pc is a tad high. I think Low-Hz.com has them a little cheaper though.

check ebay, even cheaper, i love massive audio, get a single dmx 15 on 3 k , it will make some noise...

I bet you need dual 2 ohm though don't u.

EDIT: Just looked and it looks like that amp is max power at 2 ohm so that should do the trick, save a little money.

I dont think. My L7s are dual 4 ohm

I could by that one and than by another from a local dealer by me. Do you think that is a nice upgrade from 2 15 L7s? By the way thanks for the help

I've never heard the subs in person, but they are a step down from their DMX series. If I were you, if you wanna nice upgrade from your L7's, I would get something that will play way above and beyond the L7's capabilitys. If the CW's are louder, it wont be by much and your just going to want a "nice upgrade" from them in a few monthes down the road. I would just go big right now so your dont have to keep wasting your money making small upgrades all the time.

then enclosure/ install is ur best bet, i agree w/ platestacker, man i pissed away a shit load of money, although at the time i was excited bout it.... get one or 2 high end driver, a couple of big *** amps, big ol ported box and let that shit bang...

my advice..

Yup. Either change your enclosure/install OR increase your overall sub surface area by getting four 12's or four 15's of a medium/high end driver. Most of the time you will get louder that way than increasing power.

I have heard both the massive cw 15 and also the DMX massive 15 i would say that the Cw is more of a SPL sub and the DMX is more of a SQ sub really but that's just my opinion.
