I was just on the phone with my Massive distributor and that's an old discontinued model. If you can step up to the CK6X I can get those.

well i am looking to run off of a headunit only. will the CK6X work on headunit power, be efficient and still sound great?

They will certainly work on head unit power, but they won't sound as good as they could if they had some real power. I see VK6 is still listed on Massive Audio's web store, but they're not in the 2013 product catalog and I can't order them.

The SK6 II component set is similar to VK6, except it's a very shallow woofer. I'm not sure you'd be happy with the bass performance on the SK set, but again you're looking at compromised performance as a trade-off for efficiency. The CK6X set on ~100W per side would be a big upgrade all around.
