well i havent fired up in bout 3 years but i voted yes just because as nobody i think mentioned, big brother gov is wasting too much money on trying to stop it, i mean look at the overcrowded jails. people doing 5-10, 15-20, life, and for what selling WEED???? come on get real, i feel its not nearly as bad as alcohol, and ciggs well i dont know but if people want to grow, smoke, or hell eat a PLANT let them. its not like u have to put chemicals in it, its a natural substance let it grow and if people want smoke it.......

now on the other hand some of what the gov says needs to be looked at, i mean it worries me too. how do you know until afterwords that the bag is or isnt laced? when i was in rehab for alcohol there were a couple of people who said that just 1 line of coke or heroin is all it took...

But if you want to use that argument, "Why impose your wishes on my body," why stop at weed? Lets go ahead and legalize crack, heroin, Exctasy....all of them. I mean, that's us imposing our "wishes" upon their body, right?

And if serial killers want to kill, lets allow them to. I mean, who are we to decide what they can and can't do? Lets allow child molesters to run free because we shouldn't decide what is wrong or right for them to do.

that doesnt really make too much sense as an argument here, because on the one hand we have drugs that effect an individual, and on the other hand you have rapists and serial killers doing harm to others. Child molesters and killers are doing exactly that which we're trying to stop here: imposing their will on another's body- through **** or murder or whatever. If, in some abstract world, by doing any of the drugs you mentioned people around you are directly caused harm by it, then I'd have to agree with you. But they dont, so we have two totally different issues here.

anyone who says 'dont smoke pot' and drinks alcohol should re-evaluate their standpoint. They are both drugs. Anyone who takes tylenol should do the same.

also, i dont have an opinion on the subject. i dont do it (well, maybe every now and then) but i dont want to do it that often... if its legalized i dont think its going to affect me greatly. but just take a clean white shirt and take a big "inhale" then exhale through that white shirt. all of that "gunk" was just on your lungs, and will only continue to build up. lol, not something i want.

most people dont think about the -effects- later on down the road. it does affect your breathing...

Thats a link to a forum on overgrow.....tons of facts about the misconceptions of Marijuana. I can tell you this, i smoke weed everyday, and it has helped my life. Well, its ****ed up a few things, like my wallet, but in general, its the only thing every to cure my sleep problems.....

ha.ha.... while I get the joke, it's been proven many times over that MJ does NOT cause physical addiction. That's a fact.

i dont want to start this up again but it actually does, extremely minor and heavily influenced by a user's psyche, but it does. just how norcalracer says he can't sleep, im sure he was fine before he'd taken his first puff. i'm sure he has trouble eating sober too, all stoners are like that.

I don't smoke weed; but I voted yes, because I know several people who smoke it primarily because it's illegal and have admitted they probably wouldn't if it was legalized.
