Are the manufacturers package deals on sub woofer any good? The package deals like loaded sub woofer box, amp, wiring.
I saw some deals on Skar website. Looks good on pricing.
I’m looking to add into factory sound system. Just adding LOC, subwoofer, amp.
Any manufacturer package deals y’all recommend or advice on those to avoid.

If you can match the specs of the package to your expectations then they are fine actually. The manufacturer is going to know what enclosures work well and safely with their subs.

The week after Thanksgiving usually has some good sales online from SSA, Soundqubed, and a few others. If you're not afraid to buy used better deals can be had mid-late December on forums.
Skar isn't anything special and AFAIK they still get a bit of hate around here for some shady **** the owner pulled with some B-stock gear about 8 or 10 years ago.

I saw a Kicker loaded sub box downward firing. It’s a sealed dial 8” sub.
The description says 1 active and 1 passive sub.
What’s a passive sub?
Can this box be mounted to fire with speakers facing the back of the seat in the trunk?
the dimensions are like 6” h 24 w 12 deep.
