It shouldnt be a big deal, you'll get used to it & it'll feel like its 2nd nature.
It is more fun to drive & of course you'll have times when it annoys you. If speed is a concern, once you're passing the 300hp mark, the auto hold & put down the power better. The further above 300hp you go, the better off you'd be with an auto.
