Man shot for loud motorcycle

JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. - Police said an Indiana man shot another man for riding his motorcycle too loudly. The shooting resulted in a SWAT team surrounding the suspect's house until he surrendered. Watch The Story
Police said John Moore, 53, shot Jamil Roberts, 20, in the face.

Police said Moore and Roberts got into an altercation a few weeks ago, and then again a few days ago.

"Apparently, the suspect, Mr. Moore, was aggravated with him for driving the motorcycle and being too loud with it," said Detective Brian Miller of Jeffersonville police.

Police said Roberts drove himself to a nearby Circle K, where witnesses reported seeing him get out of the car holding his head and saying, "I've just been shot."

While emergency crews transported Roberts to the hospital, police sent a SWAT team to Moore's apartment.

"SWAT team surrounded his house, and he was then ordered out of his house, and he did comply and come out without incident," Miller said.

Moore now faces charges including attempted murder.

I knew one of those loud bikers were goin' to get it one of these days. And they bitch about our stereos, ppffft! Bikes are way more annoying!

I was up at about 2:30 am and said you know what im gonna do it

got some bass heavy music, cant remember what it was

got in his drive way really close to his house

turned the mofo way up, past even the level I like it, distortion city

saw the light turn on then I reved my car and left

I ride and have loud pipes, but its the same as stereo, slow and quiet in town. I have a prick of a neighbor with a sportster with straight pipes that hasn't learned how to be quiet in a neighborhood yet. Pisses me off.

Would I shoot the guy in the face though....hell no. Sounds like somebody was either unstable or afraid to confront the dood face to face without a weapon.
