How is it a bad position? How do you know that the motorcyclist didn't do anything wrong and was just following someone home in order to get insurance info? The "douchebag on a motorcycle was pestering two teenage girls by following them home, trying to scare them" has a much better chance of being true.
Point being: you can believe what you want, I'll believe what I want. Both have a chance of being true...mine has the evidence to support it.

I agree 100% with Ryan, how hard is it really to memorize seven digits? Guy was probably either an idiot or a douche, and in both cases Darwin intervened...

I memorize them when I first get them very easily, if I want to remember them for extended periods of time I put them in my phone book...

i know of not a single person who can do it. not a single one.

which is why exactly im having a hard time understanding how following someone home to get a location (which is far easier to remember since its all visual, IMO) to report it later, instead of trying to remember a license plate number until you get home, is such a bad thing that it deserves "darwin" in the mix (assuming you dont have a pen and paper or a cell phone on the bike). now if the license plate said "iloveyou" or was some other vanity plate, it would be a different story (not hard at all to remember something like that, there is a guy with "*heart*mymilf" on his jeep around here, which is easy enough to remember after seeing it one time a year ago)

Its like words. When you learn a word, you don't remember the content necessarily...but the length and the first/last letters...

A good technique to memorize numbers is to find patterns, or group the numbers into pairs/triplets to make them easier to remember...

some people dont have the memory capability. since i was young (probably around 8) my mom would get pissed off and tell me to drink X and X with Geinsing in it, hoping it would improve my memory. its the same now as it was back then.

i dont understand, how me not being able to remember a number deserves me being shot to death.
