wow... all zx amps ive had get very hot with just normal listening...

my ZX never gets hot, it gets warm after a while, but never hot. I have the gains a lil under halfway, no bass boost.

Hey Ive done the same thing before, was waiting for a friend at his apts and was listening to my music. Got out for a sec to see how it sounded and to see if it was too loud and like a dumb *** shut the door. Car was running and music blaring for about 30 mins when the cab company showed up and took less than 5 secs to open it. Took longer to get the 40 buck out my wallet

I have locked myself out a quite a few times, not with it running though. Once I lost my keys at an amusment park. Other times I just accidentally leave the keys in the ignition.

This is why I keep a spare key (hide-a-way). Just in case.
