Making my purchase tomorrow! Complete setup inside. Need last minute opinions please.

Dude hold back, you can get a lot more for your money and most likely a lot cheaper if you find it online or find distributors online. I used to run 3 10w3's in a ported enclosure off a 500/1 and they killed. But it was my first setup.

I reccomend trying to run a box under the rear seat for two w6's. They sound good sealed. . You might be better off running a 450/4 Jl for your speakers. Gives you 150x2 and 75x2. Same size as the 1000/1. Mount them both behind the rear seat.

Damplifier is the way to go for sure. Make sure you overlap when applying, and use a roller and your hands so it gets on the metal, plastic or stock deadening. If you are only doing one layer, I definatly recommend getting Damplifier Pro, or if you want to do 2 layer's, use just Damplifier. The spectrum sludge and spray also work great.

SS is the only way to go.

You think I need the 450/4 for the components and coaxles?

200 sq. ft.? I was thinking 100. I duno, I never done this before.

Where do I purchase the Second Skin by the way? Best/cheapest place?

By the way, I'm getting all the equipment for $1890, not including the RCAs and amp kit.

Should I consider going with the 450/4?

With the (3) 10W3V3s, that's 900 total rms watts and that is why I'll be using the 1000/1 (1000 watts). That is obvious.

As far as the components and coaxles go, how do you look at that because each 165V2S set has a max handling of 150 watts. So 2 sets takes up 300 watts which is already taking up the full potential of the amp. Then you have to factor in the coaxles which handle 120 watts each which is 240 total. So 240+300 equals 540. So either way, am I still going to be under powered on the components and coaxles or am I looking at it completely wrong?

I have the same truck. I have 2 jl10w1 in a sealed box, run off a 500/1. I have a 300/4 bridged to mbq reference comps front. I have an alpine bridged to the rear giving probabily 100x2 to the same type comps. Its verry loud but gives you a headache. Im going to try to clean it up by going active and finer tuning. I said this before, its got to be a pain in the *** to move the seat forward. You will need lots of deadening. I notice it in my roof the most. The headliner vibrates as much as the woofer driver. Thats with my system, yours will probabily shake it completly off. I have wondered why I havent heard of more people just building a box under the rear seat that you would just bolt the cushions on top of. You would loose the foldability but gain all the space you need for w'6 and you could mount the amps behind the rear seat. If anybody has done it LMK as I would be interested in the plans.
