making a cd to go along with research paper...

Good/bad idea guys?
I'm doing my paper on audio/data compression, and to help make my points I'm including audio examples of some compressed drums/guitars/songs. What do you guys think, innovative?
about as innovative as ice water.

This sounds like it is for a class or the such where the readers or listeners are not experts on the subject. If this is the case the only way to really demonstrate your point in a way people can understand would be by using concrete examples, such as a demonstration CD.

Maybe use PP for a smoother presentation.

It's not really a presentation...

its a research paper, its hard to get a concrete idea of what compression sounds like if your only looking at definition and uses
