Makeing your own Areoports

anyone ever try it? i did. lol

i used a thicker style construction paper then duct taped the hell out of it.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif think it will work? i also was tinking of takeing the metal pipeing from a furnace and useing that think that will work?

im just trying to trow out some ideas to makeing your own areoports.

you could get some wood and build something, but paper+tape wont cut it.

It's a pretty simple process, but it does take some time to get right.

Just buy some thinwall PVC from the hardware store, make a mold (like the ones in the link) and get a heatgun to heat up the PVC.

Just make sure you heat evenly or else you'll get some distortion in the flare or you might actually tear the PVC if you heat it up too much/stretch it too much.

In all honesty, unless you are going to make 6" ports or bigger, it would be alot less hassle to just buy some.

but on a second note i was just trowing out ideas on makeing cheap hassel free areoports and was just wonndering if anyone else had tried useing different methods.
