major spl from a daily?

you seriously said that? LOL do you know how many double sub setups I beat in competition with a single 12? No big deal though thats just your opinion, a pair of 35s have potential, but they are going to need the power as well, and with that power he has you will not heat coils up much on an aq hd3 or 95 DD unless its dirty power or a clipped signal which in any case would destroy a woofer, its dumb to even try to compare woofer A to woofer B unless its the same person, in the same car, sub in the same box, with the same resistance in the coils, with the same song, with the same battery power, with the same volume, with the same amp, with the same voltage etc......Daily driver with sick SPL on a budget is a Single Aq Hd3 12 or 15, I have a single 12 I listen to on music and it is beyond enough for daily driving...(145db) Drivng around town (149.1) turned up in the competition lane......Try everything until you find what you like the best, we cant tell you what your going to like....just our opinion based off your post.

i just got the 2500.1d kicker amp, i was thinking about running a 18'' fi btl or would i be better off with dd 15 or aq 15,
I have used tons of DD amps and subs and found that for music and not tone burst you can run a crap load of power.... Talk to the owner of DD Juss and he will tell you a 9515 is not rated to take a Z1 amp but it will and take it all day. You will go louder using 2 3515s with the same amp and same setup. This is due to the fact you have more cone area and adding in the Xmax factor you end up moving more volume of air per beat. Now you are running the same power over 4 coils since the 3500 are DVC and you use 2. Same power over 4 coils = cooler running subs. I am not saying that 2 1015 subs will = a 9515 but I know for a fact that 2 3515 will play louder using the same amp as a 9515. This being only thing changed in the system is the box. Good comp to look at for spl daily would be RE, DD, Atomic are some of the higher $ brands but I have had very good output from Audiopipe, Lanzar Opti, Fusion, and a bunch of other brands that are under 125 per sub. Again we are talking about dail spl and not a true one tone beast. Now if you want a single sub money no problem then look at the Digital Designs 99Z line of subs.... better come with some power since 2 Z1 amps on a single sub is no problem and I have seen people run 4 Z1 per sub.

from what you said, money isnt a problem with 4 amps why wouldnt you suggest 4 35s? Thats more cone area with the same power that would make it louder, dude seriously I understand what your saying, but its not exactly correct, yes cone area would be louder, but with the same power on less cone area you can be louder, your asking for a perfect world, thats never going to happen, because he has 4 coils means it wont be as hot is bs as well, because if you have a quad 99 thats the same amount of coils, but 1 sub thats built to handle that power, so basically what your telling me is 2 3515s will be louder then a 9918 using a pair of Z1s? Because its the same power, but there is more cone area with the 15s over the 18s?? So can you tell me why my single 12 is louder then a pair of 12s same subs same amp? I can prove it as well, bottom line why buy multiple subs when it takes more room, rather buying 1 super sub that takes less room, same power and cost less for the same output??

the 2800 rms from the kicker amp i have, would it be enough to make the 9515 bump really hard? or dose it need more then 3k rms? i figured the btl 18 would be capable of more spl due to the size of the cone area and the magnent, and the amp i have would be able to push it hard. but why not run 2 dd 9515's instead of trying to match one 9515 with the 2 3515

uhhhhh //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif if you blew your solo x, your probably doing something wrong to begin with. Might want to review your enclosure design before continuing to spend money on something that will get you the same output as the solo.

if im not mistaken, the massive audio dmx stage 2 might be the cheapest out of all the ones that were mentioned. and it gets louder than a re mt. yes i sis here both. but remember, its all install. ask anyone that has a dmx stage 2, they will tell u that it will get really loud. hell just ask snoopdan.
You can't really say one sub is louder than the other.....Its all install and box dependent

i had my 2500.1 on 3/4 gain, have it in a 5.0 cubic box 2x6 slot running 0g. wire all the way around, and also have the yellow top battery. i think it comes down to the sub is not ment for daily.

No I think your gain was the problem normally anything after 1/2 gain on an amp is NOT CLEAN power anymore, from what you said I think you clipped the signal resulting in a blown woofer

so you think the x would make a good daily? have u even seen the insides of an x. the coils are really thin. the subs ment for quick burst, not bumping for a cupple hors every day.

so if i have a 2 volt sub outs on my cd player and my gain needs to be higher than half way, im getting dirty power huh?
