major spl from a daily?

most likely i'm getting 2 15'' aq hd3's though, and running a 2500.1 to both. should out do my x and last a hell of a lot longer than a month

I said normally, either or it should roughly be more power, with more pre out voltage your amp doesnt have to work as hard to meet your needs, hints a 2vlt pre out would get a mono block hot at 1ohm as where a 4vlt pre out wouldnt be near as hot at 1ohm......only 100% way to check is doing it the proper way using ) scope etc....

No I think your gain was the problem normally anything after 1/2 gain on an amp is NOT CLEAN power anymore, from what you said I think you clipped the signal resulting in a blown woofer

your sub isnt seeing much power...Im sure someone can chime in to help explain, your hu has partial control and you have it turned way down, if you have your amp gain set at 1/2 and the HU turned up, more then likely thats going to result in a bad signal an blow your sub......Basically what I am trying to say is, turning your gains up to much and trying to get more out of what you have then what it can do isnt going to be a positive outcome.

The 95 and the HD3 are roughly the same sub, and it many test the HD3 was louder, feel free to pm jeremiah25 to ask him personally, how is the 95 better? Because the cooling thats what everyone says either or unless you have a stronger cone and cf dust cap that 95 IS NOT better then the HD3

that sub can handle more than 2800rms, the guy on the site runs 4k daily to one 15, i'm sure turning the gain way high will send clipped signals but i doubt i will do that anyways i dont plan on buying new window screens. and i plan on paying 350 each for the sub with warenty. but untill then i'm still bumping with my x till it smokes its f'd as it is.

2 15" re SX are a nice sqL setup, my two are in the high 140's with a out of spec box. I just ordered my third 15, and working on a box to RE's specs now. In a few days I should have a sick daily with 3 sx 15's and 2 sundown 1500'a
