I don't see any difference in their prices and those at woofersetc.com. Of course, I did not look at each item.

I did see where they were listing dealer cost and disparaging the product. pretty shitty. If you don't want to carry the line, then don't carry it.

They are pissed because they signed a dealer agreement, then like most online companies that wh*re* product out, they tried to pull a bunch of fast ones and sell products super cheap and undercut other companies which is bad for everyone in the car audio business. Well they got cought a few times and ID cut them loose as a dealer and sent them a dealer termination notice. So they had a temper tantrum.

Now they are illegally slandering ID and spewing false claims against them. Total @ssholes. I have personally been to ID and watched speakers, subs & gear being made for ID and other companies. They are a freakin build house for god sake. Sure some parts come from overseas, as with EVERY company. So what. If ID did not make it's own speakers, I could not call them on Monday and have a custom built sub shipped to me FROM LA on Wednesday. If they were made overseas I could never get it that fast hahaha.

They even try to put down the IDQV3 saying it has a plastic basket *LOL* ID was actually smart in going with a composite basket "not cheap plastic" as they claim. I wish more companies would go to composite baskets personally.

Just lots of BS. Then they BS about ID having dealers charge a 50% markup like that is uncommon. All companies with dealer agreements have a min / max selling price for stores to keep them honest. That is business and is good for retailers, especially companies that carry higher end brands that do not sell high volume. Do not cry when you get your hand slapped for pissing off a company so many times they cut you as a dealer. Hell you want to cry about ID wanting a 50% markup, why do they not tell the truth about the ADS subs they have ON SALE that are still marked up over 65% *LOL* Or all the other products they are selling, some of which are marked up 75-80% hahahah. I am impressed ID had the balls to cut loose a high volume dealer for not honoring a contract.

Anyways yeah, just pissed me off. I hope ID sues the hell out of them for slander. They are even slandering them in ebay auctions in which ebay has been notified and there auctions will be removed.

I do not know the guys at ID well but I have been around the industry long enough to know they are a very good company and produce very very good products and stupid small shit stain companies like these guys just need to go away.

Bingo, They are retarded. Pretty much summs it up. I just cannot fathom a COMPANY or so called company slandering another company because they do not want to play by the rules they agreed to. Just insane.

I notice that in one area of the site they badmouth ID and yet on another they highly recommend ID subs. So which is it? Products they endorse or proucts that should be avoided?

Perhaps in this spirit of candor that they are feeling at the moment they should publish their cost on all products that they sale.

Quite frankly I think they are shooting themselves in the foot. Most people are not going to be in a buying mood immediately after being reminded that audio products cost much less to produce than what they sell for.

They have taken down some of there stuff. Slander as in saying ALL ID speakers are made in china, They even had up the baskets were "cheap ABS plastic" & the quality was horrible china garbage. That is slander.

Yea, but they're still charging the asking retail. They're just showing their cost to try to make ID look bad. Which really only makes them look bad.
They basically want to move volume for cheap, and ID doesn't want them undercutting everyone else, so they're throwing a hissyfit. Lol.

Don't be so sure. I think in this case it may very well be. if the product is, in fact, not made in China and it is reasonable to infer from the context that the retailer is saying that the products are inferior.

I think a court would be more inclined to allow the case when the speaker is in a relationship with the disparaged comany, is claiming knowledge greater than the average person and is making these comments out of malice.
