Man as much as I cant stand mazdakid, I kinda feel bad for him. I mean who honestly ships a product like that! I mean I have read that is how BOB at AB ships them, which to me is just insane.

Then you have the seller who was willing to help you get it fixed, but then you turned him down on every offer. I mean if you want to file a claim then do so, but that could take as long as fixing the amp. So the feeling bad for you kinda goes out the window now.

I know a lot of people are going against you, but you kinda asked for it really.

I think you should have him help you and get it straightned out that way. I mean people are trying to help so get some help!

the amp i got was not a brand new amp, the guy tried to say it was but he lied because in the for sale thread he said its been used for 5 days. this guy didnt try to help me, right away he tried to send me to who he got the amp from. if i wanted to buy an amp for my dad that had to be shipped in and get fixed i would have just bought a blown amp for half the price and waited to get the amp back. just letting everyone know to maybe think twice about dealing with this guy

I think you should read the thread before coming into it and posting stuff like this. Jman I am sure takes pride and works hard to have 100% feedback and he doesn't deserve you coming into this thread and NOT even reading it and saying he needs to make things right.... Especially since he has tried to make things right.

--there were 2 amps sold by jmanjr.

--1 was bn

--other one was used 5 days.

so he sold the used one for more than the brand new one huh? ill be sure to send my next item out in a box like this and watch the recipient complain and ill just tell him to call the previous owners. i dont care if this is how bob or whoever ships the amps, its shitty packaging.

it was never the sellers fault in the first place according to him. as soon as i said something was wrong he told me to call someone else. i dont see how thats helping me. the seller should get shit worked out and then tell the buyer whats going on. jman you werent the middle man here jackass

the box would show damage if the amp was dropped. it doesn't

the price i don't know anything about that was between the two of you.

there is no need to start the name calling and get hostile.

the reason why we say to talk to nomad40 is because he knows about the amp, from the time it was used for the pics on amp guts to jmanjr. and he will even tell you that the amp was bn.

if you don't like the packaging call Bob at American Bass and tell him that you think he does a sh!tty job at packaging.

and then let me know how that goes.

ok i guess im just going to say its been damaged in shipping. on the side where the subsonic filter is pushed down you can tell that the mounting tab has been bent up a little bit.

a cardboard box cant get damaged really if it has nowhere to go, sure maybe if there was padding around the amp for the box to be able to be damaged.

the box is 1/4" bigger than the amp all around, its not going to show damage where it hit

but that doesn't matter.

the damage that you speak of could not be done just by dropping it.

I hold by my previous comment that the amp was fried and that you probably did it.

the only way the cap could have been like that was if it was stabbed. no way it overheated and looked like that.

somehow from the time it left jman to the time you got it and fired it up, it fried.

and than I get the impression that someone didn't want the blame for that.

just from my standpoint.

you are dragging jman's name through the mud and nomad's because you won't listen.

I don't know jman too well but we have talked a bit before. he seems like an honest guy.

MORE IMPORTANTLY if nomad40, who is my friend, tells me he is an honest guy. than he is, with no question in my mind.

if someone like nomad vouches for him, there should be no real question. ask around. nomad40 is a very respected indivual in car audio.

I would like to point out that you keep adding and changing what was damaged on that amp.

first it was fried...

then it was dropped...

then we come to it have been used and just destroyed..

someone stabbed the capacitor inside the amp...

when are you going to end this and finally call jman like he has been wanting you to?

this isn't the right area for feedback like this...

nor should this be a public issue.

it should be resolved over the phone or via e-mail. which mazdakid does not want to do.
