magma blown vc

I just got a magma 12 from one of my coworkers. He said one of the vc is blown so he sold it to me for 30 dollas. I was wondering if this sub could be reconed. If so how would I get a recone kit and what does it take to do it. Is it alright to run it with one vc? Any replies greatl appreciated.

Talk to Scott at Fi. It is a 3" VC so I think that he might be able to do something with it.

are recones pretty easy? can just anybody do one or does it take someone with alot of experience. so I take it that fi parts will fit this basket and motor?

Its a possibiblity, reconing isnt all that hard, theres a tutorial of sorts in the subwoofer section on here and on ROE.
