I was wrong. Just my opinion though. So no need to flame.

every company that comes out with a new sub or a new version of one says that. i'm very skeptical and thats based on the absolute stellar reviews the the mag v1 -3 had gotThe sub better be the best sounding sub. what does that mean?I hope it's not too warm sounding like the previous gen mag
hopefully it's more transparent like the brahma, having a xbl^2 motor

i got my mag to be pretty transparent. I had to EQ the hell out of the 40-50hz band, stupid trunk cars. It sounds more subtle now.I hope it's not too warm sounding like the previous gen mag

We didn't tool our own basket (one of the few parts we didn't tool) because it allows us the clearance we need while still being able to put the motor inside to shrink mounting depth.well, they did go over to china to get the design
Everything for nothing. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gifI think its funny about how people always rag on crap companies like audiobling that go for more looks than performance....then...when a respectable company redesigns their woofer to sound better and dont concentrate on the looks then everyone hates on it.......I dont understand what these people expect or want. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

FYI: 99% of baskets come from China. Even the coveted "made in USA" subwoofers use baskets from China.
About the gasket - it won't stretch. It's made out of a softer rubber than most standard gaskets, but it's not overly soft. You're right, to mount the sub you place the sub in the cutout hole, pickup the inside edge of the gasket and put your screws in. The gasket goes flush afterwards showing no screws.
