looks good so far but what size drivers are you putting in them? That appears to be .25" material for the baffle which seems very thin for that application.

6 1/2"s , once i glass them they will be ok to hold the speakers.

get some nason 2K primer and say screw the slick sand. Its about half the price of slick sand. I use it everyday. good stuff and great price

we desided to go a little ferther with the inside, so i made a center console today. got some more peaces i'm working on that i'll be posting pix of as i go.

in these pix the seat is unbolted and moved back. That is the only way we could moke-up the console. When installed the seat will be right up aganst the console. We are going to add billet pop out cut holders to the sides and glass the whole console so it will be slick. Don't know if we are going to put a doubble din in it or put gaiges in it.

Nice build log. I'm toying with the idea of a center console in my s10 as well. What else can you use it for besides cupholders?

custom consoles are more comonly used for head units,gaiges,switches,monitors, or whatever you can think of that will fit.
