Made some budget 8" Aeroports *pics*

if you forget ur tape measure you can always borrow 1 from aisle 5 lol.
Well yeah thats what I do lol, just grabbed one on the way to the concrete aisle lol

those are pretty nice, i have a 8" sono sittin in my house i may have to do that if i cant find reasonably prices aeros in canada shipping/brokerage from pe.com is 45$
Ya I was going to do 4 6" aeros from PE, but after currency conversion, shipping, and the GROSS ammounts of brokerage UPS charges for PE orders, this was a MUCH better option to me, plus my work is slow and i had monday off, so why not save some money

looks good, how strong is the plate lip after the glass work?
Its very strong, the plate on its own was pretty thick but you could warp it with your fingers, you cant flex it at all now. I also pooled some extra resin after the 4-5 layers dried, so I had some extra resin buildup for the mounting screws.

I really recommend the fiberglass wrap around the tube in the center though, the cardboard is kinda weak on its own, like you can collapse it with 10-15lbs pressure, I could barely flex it at all if any after I glassed it with only 2 layers

Meh, work is getting slower and slower by the week, and I dont think Ive seen 8" aeros for sale from a place that ships to canada, I love DIY shlt, and it was 3 hours at most, money well saved to me

you can get metal flares from spiral fittings.
