LOL i just made a 5.25 cft total ported box for 2 L7 10's lol 67 sq inches of port on a jl 500/1 that mo slams like a set of 15's -old school ones anyhow- knocked stuff off my wall from the rear of my incredibly short drive way lol its the spl kicker box done up funky

that's one big a@@ box audiolife. post some pics of it for us so we can check it out, hell get it metered and give some #'s. i'd be curious to see what just 2 10"s can hit running off 500 watts.

good god, 140-145 from only 500watts and 2 10"s. wow **** impressive i must say, i'm hoping to get around that from my 2 12"s. what you think 4.3cuft sealed, 2 blaupunkt overdrive 12"s 1000watts rms. 140's?? i know hard to judge but if it helps i drive a jimmy, with about 100-120ft. of dynamat xtreme.

sigh, you'll hit between 0 and 170dB. that's the most accurate reading you will get until you actually get it metered

just did 144.6 on an ac (a stingy one at that) sorry i wasnt there to tune it i had other things to do....... and i say it can still get a lil more ..ramos i put the subs right next to eachother ........ the box is made from 3/4" ispb cause the store doesnt carry "mdf" lol its 36" wide x13.5" tall x 23.5" deep with a port that is square 8.25"x8.25"x18" tuned very close to 38hz with this shape very little bracing was needed and you can see by my pic what it looks like lol its ported out the side into a corner of the trunk about 4.5" away from the side gives it a lil more umff at the low end

i use a program for tuning box pro 5.0

volume= -1.5" for all external dimentions since the wood is .75" thick
