Madden 08 anyone?

seeing as they were selling for what 29.99 and madden always sells for 49.99 on ps2 i would think that the 2k series would outsell madden just because of that, i never played any nfl 2k games until 2k6, and i bought it simply because it was cheaper, i loved the gameplay of nfl2k6 and the fact that you can run through people, i loved that part......

i want to say though at the time of the price drop ea had bought the rights to 2k games. so technically they didnt care which one was selling. i could be wrong but i think i read something to that effect.

if priced the same i cant imagine 2k would of been a threat.

EA never has and probably never will own 2K sports. The 2K series was gaining momentum every year in sales, and at the time had the ESPN license, then EA got scared and bought the rights to NFL video games.
