yes nfl 2k series was much better, to bad madden bought all the rights, guess ea saw it as a threat eh....

i dont know if there was too much competition. espn just said since 89 they have sold 67 million copies and 7 million last year in the US alone.

and most people i know own madden or both.

I used to be a fan of the 2k series. This years madden has changed my mind. Nuff said.

seeing as they were selling for what 29.99 and madden always sells for 49.99 on ps2 i would think that the 2k series would outsell madden just because of that, i never played any nfl 2k games until 2k6, and i bought it simply because it was cheaper, i loved the gameplay of nfl2k6 and the fact that you can run through people, i loved that part......
