Hey im planning on doing a blow through on my truck after christmas and plan on either doing a single mach 5 audio ixl 18" or a single audioque hdc3 15" with the copper coil. Either one i go with will be in a ported box and ran off a crunch gp1500d for now. Which would you do and im looking mostly for spl

Why not an AQ HDc3 18?

If you're doing a blow through, box size shouldn't be a problem.....

What about an IA DP? They're on sale right now for about the same price as teh AQ's.

Just some things to think about.

They need more power to reach full extension than something like a HDc3 if I remember correctly, though. Off of his 1500d, I'd go with the AQ over the SPL.

But he was questioning the IXL's.
