what do you think would sound better, louder, etc.

2 kicker cvx 12s with a kicker 1500/1 amp

3 kicker cvx 12s with a kicker 1500/1 amp

just didnt know if 2 with more pwr or 3 with less. thanks!

3 Would be louder and sound about the same as far as SQ goes. I would go with 2 to save space and money and just try to optimize that set-up or you could go with a higher end 15 inch sub that has more potential like a Mag or a sub of that caliber.

Keep the 2500 and buy a battery for the rear and about 25 feet of 1/0 wire.

But whatever you decide to do, your speakers will have to be wired to a load greater than 2 ohms.

i already have 3 dual 4 ohm cvx's and i figure they will be wired down to about 2.6ohm.
