I guess I don't want to go extremely into detail, but I just bought a Camaro. I have 2 JL 12W3 v2 and a MMATS 500.1 in my Tahoe. I'm thinking of taking this out the Tahoe and putting it in the Camaro. I have a Kicker ZX700.5 that I got off ebay a couple months back and the sub channel is 2 ohm but it only puts out about 420 or so. So I was thinking of ordering two MJ-18 for the Tahoe to replace the JL's. I know the MJ's can take more power, but will this Kicker amp be sufficient for street beating? Or should I just do like 1 15" maw 15" ported. I wish this Kicker amp was 1 ohm stable. Thanks

Thanks, I just go a reply from Mach5. I don't doubt you, but they say "The MJ-18's do not require a ton of power to get moving,

and will deliver quite well with 200 watts each". Thanks for the reply.

ya they seemed pretty efficient...plus with that much cone area i think it would work. if you arent happy just upgrade the amp llater

I'd say go for it. They are wonderful subs. One of my favorites, in fact.

id say go with the 18"s...you'll be happier in the long run. those mj's are some great subs...

Power is cheap, get the MJ's and if you want to upgrade power down the road you will always have the chance.

i have 2 in 9.2 at 30hz and it gets so ridiculously low...the flex is unbelievable
