Mach 5 MAW's

I want to try out their subs, i've got a jbl bp1200 so im working with 1200 watts rms @ 1 or 2ohms. I was thinking 2 MAW-15s sealed or 2 MAW-12s ported. Any input? I want loud clean tight sounding bass so im leaning towards the 15s. But one of my questions is that M5Audio says 2.2 cu ft sealed but it doesn't say before displacement or after.

Any input?

i'll tell you this. my maw 15 is very tight and sounds great in my sealed box. its in a 2.45 net sealed, hits lows great. you wont be disapointed. the only thing thing i am lacking in is the out put. but i gotta expect that seeing as i am only feeding the sub 1/4 of its rms. i am in the middle of finding a new amp that puts out around 500-800 rms at 2 ohm, then i'll see what this sub can do spl wise.

i dont see any issues getting into the mid 130's sealed.

did you look into getting one yet? i still say a kicker 400.1 would rock that sub great.

imthinkin about getting two maw10's for my bros friend hes older like 30 something so he needs a good sq sub but he likes rap so he want to be able to bump occasionally. Don't mean to steal the thread but dop u guys thing this is a good choice.

I love my MAW 12- it's pretty loud, and fairly clean. Excellent bang for the buck sub.

i did. i got the profile audio amp, which turned out to be an underated POS. im thinking either the kicker 400.1 or the PG octane R or the xenon 400.1 all under 130

those profile amps are budget amps. either a kicker 400.1 or that pg amp would simply amaze you with the difference when the amp is actually putting out the power it says and more.
