The Visionik v4000xd uses the same exact board right?

Is there any differences between the two?

Who has ran these amps at 1ohm?

Can a stock 100amp alt with BIG 3 1/0ga upgrade, Fresh Optima Yellow Top up front and a single 1/0 ga run to the amp be able to handle one of these amps without much voltage drops?

I'm thinking of getting one for my fully loaded 18" BTL, right now I've only got a Planet Audio 2250rms amp, with this amp I never drop below 13 at idle.

without an alty upgrade youll probly get voltage dips if u run that amp hard......youll want an alty upgrade. i mean it WILL work and if you're lucky you wotn go into protect, but with anything over 2.5kW you want a new alty......

Thanks for info. I plan on setting the gains on the amp with it sending the BTL about 2700rms @ 1ohm. I'm able to test the amp out in my setup before I buy it, hopefully it wont go into protect and I'll be ok without upgrading the alternator.
