MA Audio Subwoofers?

This is weird you say this.

I was at a poker party, and in the parking lot we had a little car audio get to together.

One of my friends have 2 12'' CVRs, and my other friend had two 12'' MA, not sure the model.

Let me tell you, the CVRs were much louder and hit way cleaner than the MAs. They were both in prefabs and I am pretty sure they were receiving the same amount of power.

Kicker > MA Audio.

x2. i've never heard MA audio in a custom enclosure though. the ones i've heard were horrible. i'd like to hear them in a custom box for reference.

Usually a subwoofer will either hit hard - SPL or not so hard but keep up with the bass - SQ, or some of both - SQL.

MA = Neither. It surprised me that these subs really have nothing to offer, the ones I heard atleast.
