Yes they are some what. If you run them hard under the proper ohm load they will draw big time amps. If you run them easy they are not that bad. I used one at 4 ohms with only one batt stock alt never had a problem. Yes the lights dimmed a bit but not alot. Didnt even have big three done. Just keep it in mind. Just like all amps to get the power you need the power to back it up the amp.

75watts at 4 ohms. haha. tell that to usaci.
