MA audio HK12X2 *good?*

Been doing some research and a few people say these subs blow otu in about 3 months.

What are you opinions?

Get this or something else?

Theres a guy on here who has them. He goes through warranty claims about every other month on them. He loses money because the company makes you pay shipping.

Well. Id say its okay. Not the best but not the worst. I have the 15 does nicely for me. Id have to say dealing with MA Audio subs over the years. I dont think they like sealed boxes AT ALL. And the power ratings are a little bit rough. Some of the older XL line handled power better. Others not so well. My 15 did handle a beating from a crunch at 1 ohm for a couple of comps. Didnt like it but still beating though.

why you switching from the type Arghs...they get loud...just dont sound good doing it...want something budget get some AQ SDC 12's.

i had to sell my amp wiring and subs for my car, needed parts.

so i decided to get something else, i settled on an american bass ASA1000D.1, FI BL12, and knu konceptz wiring //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

With that power why not go w/ the FI Q?? The BL is gonna be alot more hungry for more power.

You can go with the flatwind on the BL and the universal setting where later on if you want you can re-cone to change from either 1-0hm or to 2-ohm.

completely agree. im using the synergy line. loves power. hates to be boxed up. my guys had an x2 for a couple of years now. gives it hell but also a lot of space to breath. loud as shit tho
