I've got an MA Audio HK-802SX for sale here... stats can be found here:

the MA Audio amp is a workhorse it can put out 4400 watts RMS at 1 ohm at 17 volts!! And it's great for a fledgling competitor because the amp is so versitile in the ways it can be configured.

I've also got an RE Audio XXX 15" for sale here with dual 4 ohm coils which is perfect if you want to add more than one down the road this combination of amp and sub is great because you can give a single XXX, 2200 watts at 2 ohms or give two of them 4400 watts at 1 ohm all in parallel.

Pictures: THEY'RE HUGE!!!

RE XXX 15" dual 4 ohm coils - $325 + shipping

MA Audio HK-802SX - $325 + shipping

Package of the two- 650 Shipped

*Bonus*- I will give that beautiful grill that is shown in the pics, away to the buyer of the XXX.

As far as trades, I'm only interested in a pair of 10's or JBL amplifiers.

The amp is in great condition with a few minor cosmetic scratches here and there (but that's to be expected when you're trying to mount this beast, it's 27.3 inches long!)

The XXX is in great condition as well it's currently sitting happily in the pictured enclosure in my vehicle. There are two VERY VERY minor scratches on the cone that I didn't even notice until I saw the pictures in high def. on my computer screen.

Your trade offer is enticing however I'm looking for the total RMS of my next sub-system to be in the ballpark of 1000-1100w RMS or less. Those two onyx woofers would be approx 2000-2100w RMS depending on the size of the box. To fully power these things would be a strain on my electrical system.

lol, you know you dont have to put full power to them, and they do just fine. I'll cite the first video in my thread as evidence of this, I only used 150 watts on both coils, so thats 75 a coil and I could barley keep it on my table.

but hey, its your loss! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Would that amp be good to power two Type-X Alpine Subs?
If you ran them with all the voice coils in parallel for a 1 ohm load you could give them a VERY healthy dose of power, just keep the gains low because they like approx 2000 watts for the two of them, according to crutchfield, so you could run the amp at about 50% of it's total power output (4400 watts) at 1 ohm.... the short answer is YES.
