what about the rca's on the amp itself? should i ground them to eachother or a spot on the frame? i really hate the turn on thump, its not that loud its just ****ing annoying

Thats normal buddy, I've got experience with two of them, and they both did it. Its no big deal, good way to know your amp turned on lol...

its not normal. Its ur amps ground. Find a new and see if that works
I had the amp wired directly to the yellow top I had in the back, and that was wired (2 runs) up to the front (positive & neg), and I still had that pop. My buddy's got two (one was mine), and they both still do it with him also. Its not the grounds lol

They're not the only amps with that 'problem', if you call it that, maybe its normal?

the problem IS a grounding issue. this has been stated many times.

that happens because it all turns on too fast. (a hard turn on) ftl

cheaper amps dont delay- then turn on. {solution: put a relay on the remote wire b4 amp}

with a good cd player it delays the outputs enough not to hear it. (soft turn on) ftw
