wus goin on fellas....

i have a pair of m-audio BX8 studio monitors

i was wondering if its possible to take out these things n put em in my car? i mean they sound incredible, you cant compare speakers to studio monitors. they are actually not that big i think they would fit perfectly in the rear panel.

they sound amazing because they, and their crossover, were built specifically for that enclosure. Sure you can mount them to your rear deck...if thats what you want, you can provide them with 300w AC --just go to any truck stop and get a cheap lil dc-ac inverter. (---bout $30 or less)

but alas...they were designed for home/studio audio and not the car environment.. cars are noisy and the listening environmnet isnt a perfectly square lil box.

worst idea ever...

although i wouldnt mind having a pair of my Yamahas or Klein Hummel's in my car

those 80's there are amazing...they weigh like 50lbs each
