LPG tweeters

How low can these be crossed over? I would like to cross them over kinda low like around 1800hz to go with a set of Dayton 8" midbasses. I'm using a 24db slope on the tweeters so I'm sure I can take them almost to their resonant frequency.

1.5k is the lowest i like them

Ideally, they should be crossed at around 3.0khz and up. A good rule is to cross them at least 2 times the FS. In this case, the FS for the silk and metal domes are ~1850hz. These tweeters aren't the best for low extention. the lpg's would be best crossed at around 3khz at a very steep slope (24db/oct). generally the lpg's and dayton's don't match up well due to the huge gap.
