Wait he did you a favor by writing it up for 5 over when you were doing 20 over and you have the nerve to *****? In Michigan 5 over in a 70 is zero points. How could the state of Michigan suspend your license when you don't have a Michigan license?

I did not show up to court. I live in Illinois so I wasn't going back to Michigan to have them tell me what the fine was. I got to keep my license and everything. A letter from the 65A district court saying that because of failure to appear in court, they "took action" against my driving privileges.

I got no problem getting a ticket from a cop facing the other way when he saw me. I mean yeah you shouldn't drive fast in the middle of the night when there are no cars on the road. He was doing his job. But how it got handled after that is what I have a problem with.

They handled it appropriately. Your expectation of them having to bend to your will is what is ridiculous. You didn't think to try and get in contact with someone in MI to see if you could handle it remotely? If not it is you who failed. They did their part by telling you when to appear. It is up to you to handle it after that point. You were the one that boke the law not the courts of Michigan //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
