30-32Hz is as low as you'd really ever wanna go.

I'd recommend a basic tuning of 35-38hz for what info You've posted.

I had mine on 750wrms in a 4.3^3ft box tuned to ~25Hz and it performed well with rock and pounded lows very nicely.

Just re-read your post, I dont think tuning that low would be best for you if you wanted 50% SPL, try 30-35 depending on the music you listen to. What size enclosure are you planning on running it in?

Well, kinda like u said, since he wants it to be 50% SPL 50%SQ, 25 htz probly wont give him the SPL hes lookin for. But since he also wants good SQ, he probly wouldnt want a tuning of 38 htz either, so i guessed 33 htz maybe would be what hes lookin for.

ya, im at 33 hz with the box i built right now, and it hits

i probably shouldnt tune it any lower cause it hits low as hell already and still beats on the higher notes
