Went today to a job interview at Lowes and they got a spot open for a person to ride on the delivery truck and help with lifting shit etc.

Just wondering if there is anyone else here who works at Lowes and has delivered before, and if they could tell me what to expect?

Doesn't matter either way, I told him that I'd take the job. Just the guy said that its extremely physical but I dont think its going to be THAT bad. Maybe someone can tell me what its really going to be like, or if he is being literal about it.

My friend did the same exact thing at Lowes.

Nothin crazy with liftin, you and another guy ride around and deliever washers,Frigs, etc to homes.

They got a dollie and what not,so its pretty easy.

Your just stuck with the same guy all day,but if u dont mind its a easy pay.

We dont have a home depot, our town is pretty small lol

I start out at $6.47 and after 140 days I will get evaluated by my supervisor and then if Im doin' good I'll get a raise. I'm happy so far with my decision, can't wait to start either. Only thing I'm worried about is my back cause I have scoliosis and a cracked 6th Lumbar disk in my back. Kinda shitty cause I have one more disk in my spine than normal and its cracked from taking charges in basketball.

Great fun while it lasted, but oh well.

Thanks for the replies guys!

our drivers have to bring the stuff by themselves so you luck out there. as far as the pay your getting screwed all the lowes stores here start day crew at 14$ an hour and overnight stocking gets like 16$ lots of employes get around 20$ an hour. great company to work for btw.
