Lowering Xterra

prolly a torsion setup (being a nissan truck) might be coils though. check it out up under. torsion bolt will be about middle of your door if there is one, just a long 1 inch tube most likely if its there, may be square.

I believe they actually have it driveable now.

the xterra is a goofy vehicle in its own right, much less a body dropped xterra. Anyways, 3 inches may be a lot. I think 2 inches would be prime. 3 inches eliminates a lot of suspension travel, and the springs needed to keep from bottoming out would leave something to be desired in ride quality. Belive me, i have a dropped 240 (2 inches), and though it doesnt have much room to play with to begin, it rides like a gokart. My dad hates it, lol. Hell, keeps him from driving it when its in the way of the other vehicles.

Im not looking to do ANYTHING like that picture. Im just lowering it so that its at a more suitable height. The center of mass is so high on this car and it slides out on my alot around turns.... ESP in the rain if I downshit around a turn, which I never do anymore. I just want to lower it to get a little better performance out of the car around turns. Not make this thing a lowrider like the one above. Altho unique, I think it looks ridiculous
