Loudest I can get with 1ft^3

I have limted space behind the seat in a sport trac. about 5.25" mounting, and 1ft^3 before sub. I want to port it I'm thinking an outside aero.

So weighing my options, i can do 2 assasin 8's ported, MAYBE 3 sealed, or 1 or 2 DD 1508s/TC1000s, or maybe 2 shallow mount 10s(pioneer?)

The 2 DD 1508s would probably be the loudest option...but personally I would look to do a single 10" ported maybe a Soundsplinter RL-i 10", Fi SSD w/copper coils, Maybe something from DC sounds, as I hear that they have some strong drivers, or even a DD 3510

In that small of a sealed box, power handling will be DA BOMB YO!

To make u feel better, I used to have a 12" type-r in 1^3 with only about 500 watts, and it wanged. I was actually starting to lose my hearing, but I sold it.

If i'm thinking correctly, sport tracs' trunks lead into the cabin correct? If so, you can def get loud.

lol actually no.

It was a 97 eclipse. Really small interior with a trunk that led into the cabin, so the sub wasnt firing through the backseats.

Gains were properly set and everything, it was just so small of a car that ANYTHING wouldve been loud in there. I would say by ear that it was almost as loud as my friends 2 15" l5s off 1000 watts, his are in an explorer. It was also definitely louder than my old setup in a trunk car, with 1 old version mag in a ported box off about 600-700 watts. When I really cranked up the volume, my vision would start getting hazy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif also made a HUGE difference when I faced it forward or backward, as most of u know...

and yeah ur gonna have to be a genius to figure out how to port a 1 cubic foot box and leave enough room for 2 subs.

maybe find a shallow mount 10?

or seal off a couple good 8 and throw some power at em.

....external aero to the side FTW! I am kind of thinking 2 pioneer shallowmount 10's and an external 3"x15" aero, or sealing 2 1508s. Anyone have input of the DD's...or assassins regarding space needed?

i wouldn't go pioneer jl aoudio is supposed to be coming out with soem shallow mounts if u want to look into that
